YES - CONGRATS TO YOU BEN

I was speaking with a broadway insider a couple weeks who when I was in NYC and he was talking about the trouble that Newsies was having in casting the touring show, since almost the entire cast needs to be young males with incredible dance talent. Well Ben Cook makes perfect sense! Happy to see this.

I am quite surprised at how few members of the broadway cast are continuing on to the tour. I don't know if the cast wasn't interested in the tour, or if there was some other factor. But the broadway cast was really amazing, so I hope this touring cast is near the same level.

Surprisingly the Newsies website only lists the first 14 stops of this 25 city tour. Glenn Cook has posted the entire schedule on his public Facebook.

I'm hoping to get a group from my dance studio to head down to Toronto next summer to see it. I haven't loved a musical as much as Newsies since... well, Billy!

Here is a rehearsal video from "Newsies". We get just a few glimpses of Ben. Early on he is wearing a grey sleeveless Tshirt, but wears a bright red one later.
