Even though this is off topic, According to my friend who is a theatre geek like me, a lot of new shows that open last year are launching national tours, Annie, Kinky Boots, Pippin, Cinderella, and Motown the musical. I don't know about others, but those are stopping by denver this coming year. That really cool they are already starting new shows on tours. Here link to site that is for city near me about shows, where its listed of whats coming for 2014-2015 year. http://www.denvercenter.org

I just saw pippin today and I loved it I was so happy to be able and see both John and Matthew in the show. I never saw original production but I thought how they did the circus theme I thought was a great idea. I love how he wants to be kog of circus and he would do anything to get there. I loved show and think you guys should see it if you have chance. I talk to matt and he said he is performing with tour till la production so if you haven't seen him go and see him if you are in Colorado or California. Colorado it's here till 20th.
I got a pic with Matthew James and my favorite actor john I wanted to get one with both together but both came out at different times and it was a 2 show day.

The tour of Pippin is in Rochester, NY this week. I saw the opening performance Tuesday night. Wow, this is one of the best touring shows I have ever seen! I loved the recent Broadway revival two years ago. This is identical in almost every way. The only differences I could spot were a couple of the acrobatic tricks, which I imagine are probably tailored to suit the experiences of the individual performers.

For me the highlights were John Rubinstein as Charles and Lucie Arnaz as Berthe. I liked both of them even better than their counterparts from the 2013 Broadway cast, Terrence Mann and Andrea Martin.

Here's what our local theater reviewer had to say:

I forgot to tell you Chris, when I saw Pippin last march, Annie Potts was playing Berthe, and I thought she was really great! As Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies, it was really cool to see her live!
