Clocks!

Post by Finale »

British Summer Time ends on the 30th/31st at 2am, and the clocks go back 1 h.

The time displayed when you are not logged in will not be affected as this is the board default. But if you're currently set to an hour ahead when logged in, please remember to edit your clock settings by going on the User Control Panel and clicking on 'board preferences'. The desired setting is '[UTC] Western European Time, Greenwich Mean Time'. Additionally, you need to make sure that 'Summer Time/DST is in effect:' is set to 'no'.

For anyone in the US, this means the time lapse between the UK and here on the East Coast will (for one week) be 4 hours instead of 5 (adjust for your own time zone). But on Nov. 7, when we go back on Standard Time, the difference will be back to 5.

British Summer Time begins on the 27th at 1am, and the clocks go forward 1 h.

If this applies to you, please go to your User Control Panel and click on Board Preferences. Then make sure "Summer Time/DST is in effect" is set to yes.

We on the East Coast of the US will be back to a 5 hour difference now instead of the 4 hour one we've had for a couple of weeks, since we went on Daylight time on March 13.

Thanks for reminding everyone, Finale. Of course, if you are in the US, the change will happen next weekend. So for a week, there will be only a 4 hour time difference instead of a 5 hour one. ;)

Okay, if you are in the US, tonight's the night to "Fall Back" an hour. Another hour of sleep! Yay! :D :D

If you are in the US, don't forget that Daylight Savings Time happens this weekend. Turn your clocks forward by an hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

This time, the US gets the jump on the UK. British Summer Time will not begin until March 25.
