I've just bought my ticket for the Irish opening night in Bord Gais Energy Theater, but there was no seat left in the first two rows
I got seat C17
Only 257 days to go

Re: Chat about BETM UK/Ireland Tour
Colin Welford told me that he will be MD of the UK Tour.
He has had extensive experience as MD of BETM at Drury Lane, The Gateway, The Muny, Toronto, Chicago, and The Netherlands, when it was in preparation. He has also had extensive West End experience, as well as the former conductor of the English National Ballet. I cannot verify our conversation, but we talked about it on several occasions, at Drury Lane and The Gateway.

Re: Chat about BETM UK/Ireland Tour
There was a new MD at the VPT on Thursday evening last week. I can't say if it was Colin, though. Meant to have a word at the end but he was surrounded by some people that seemed to know him.

Here's another link
https://www.londontheatre1.com/news/123 ... ly-elliot/
Nice to see Daniel Page name mentioned as well as Barnaby's. The thing that sticks in my mind about Daniel is the way he used to fasten his jacket up at the start of The Stars Look Down. It's such a small thing but it sticks in my memory banks - and not much else does these days
Daniel was working front of house recently at the VP and it was nice to have a quick chat with him. He always had time for a few words with the fans when he was in the show.

Re: Chat about BETM UK/Ireland Tour
The cast page on the tour website has been updated to show which parts each actor will be playing:
http://tour.billyelliotthemusical.com/cast-creative/
It's interesting that two of the ballet girls will be played by adults, which is the same as what happened in the Netherlands.
