I hadn't seen that until just now. I LOVED it! One of the best BETM videos I've ever seen actually! He really nailed so much of the greatness of the show as well as so much of the talent of the Billys! Awesome!porschesrule wrote:Here's a nice video interview with Deka by broadway.com. It seems to have been recorded after the 7th birthday of the show in London, but I can't remember previously seeing it. If it's been posted elsewhere, I apologize, but it's a wonderful interview worth seeing again if you have.

A team from the Victoria Palace, including Deka, are raising money for the Stroke Association by riding London's bridges.

Re: Deka Walmsley - Dad
Having now been at two cast leavers' show when Deka has played Jackie I have to say what an asset he is to the show.
The way he gets the people who are not leaving to sit down and then talks about all the leavers is wonderful. You can tell that he has the utmost respect and love for all of these people.
Long may he stay with us.

So agree with this. Just came back from seeing the new cast for the first time and it made me realise how glad I am that Deka's still in the show!Billy Whiz wrote:Having now been at two cast leavers' show when Deka has played Jackie I have to say what an asset he is to the show.

Re: Deka Walmsley - Dad
Deka performs most days of the week, but, obviously, from time to time has a day or two off. Any changes to the normal cast are shown by a notice on the Box Office window.
Re: Deka Walmsley - Dad
Ok thanks. Doesn't he have a set day off?
