This past weekend Jacob played Enjolras in the Columbia High School production of "Les Mis" in his home town of East Greenbush, NY. His mom posted this public photo on her Facebook.

Shoudn't a school/amateur version (and reduced performance license) of BETM be published, like the one done for Les Mis, especially if the Tour (and possibly London) Production ends?

Here's a commercial Jacob shot just as he was finishing up with BETM according to his mom:

It's been a long time since we have heard anything about Jacob. Here is a video of him singing "Beautiful City" from Godspell at his high school this past weekend. What a rich voice he has now!

One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite shows, and Jacob did a great job with it. Guess that would kind of be a high school drama teacher's dream . . .to be able to cast a Broadway veteran in the lead role of your show !

I looked at several of the other videos she posted as well. Jacob's performance seems to be part of a variety show of Broadway numbers. I get the impression that there is a lot of talent in the theatre department at his high school, but he is definitely the star pupil.
