Last night, AMC showed a two-hour episode of Turn: Washington's Spies, to kick off the second season of this War of Independence series. Jamie certainly had a big part, and I think he acquitted himself with one of the stronger performances in this show.

I hope my UK friends will be spared seeing last night's performance; the portrayal of King George III was, shall we say, less than complimentary!

This is an interesting video, in which a group (including Jamie) discuss turning the amazing Wren Building at the College of William and Mary into the King's throne room. At the 2.15 point, you will see a scene with King George, in one of his more rational moments:

For those able to access it, there is a good article about Jamie Bell in yesterday's Sunday Times Style Magazine:

Here is another, from contactmusic.com:

http://www.contactmusic.com/jamie-bell/ ... ac_4835211
He tells Britain's Sunday Times Style magazine, "The night before I started shooting, I called my agent and tried to back out of it... I felt I had bitten off more than I could chew."
I wonder whether Mrs Wilkinson was there, to tell him 'You can do it....just put your alarm on.....'
