It slides in from stage right. The room is built in two pieces so that the stairs can be pulled away separate from the platform. The platform then can rotate for Angry Dance. With the stairs not being there. The right hand wall has been cut shorter to fit it in and out.Meagan312 wrote:Great reviews! Probably wrong thread, but to correct and expand:
There are actually two pieces that slide in from the sides. The Kitchen Table slides in around the same area on stage right (house left) that houses Michael's Bedroom. The Stairs/ Billy's Bedroom slides in from stage left (house right). In addition, the Hut is constructed on stage and a curtain and lighting effects replace the Mine Elevator. These changes, along with some staging elements described elsewhere, eliminate the need for any trap doors in the stage.
