I think the interesting thing is now Mrs Wilkinson's costumes vary depending on who is playing her.

The costumes designed for Hadyn Gwynne were also used by Sally Dexter originally, by Gillian Kirkpatrick (in her first run) and Kate Graham.

Sally Dexter got some a different costume for Shine for her last six months, with a sort off dress and which she took off to reveal starry hot-pants, rather than leggins.

Jackie Clune had a totally different set of costumes. There was that blue apron-type thing that she wore over her starry jumpsuit in Shine and then it was all leggings and long jumpers. Jackie had two different tutus for the finale in the course of her run.

Gen Lemon had different costumes; Kate Hennig uses these too.

Jo Riding has some very bizzare smock-type costumes and a dress rather than a tutu for the finale.
Gillian had a different outfit for shine when she returned.

I think it is the place to post this kind of information :

I noticed something interesting, on Ben Cook's Facebook (It's not private).
Apparently, because Billy Elliot is set in winter, Ben has to stay pale. So even when he's at the beach, it means a lot of sunscreen. It is said on some photos.
I was surprised, it shows how every little details is important. I don't know if the public can notice that a Billy is tanned but in all cases, i like that, another thing which shows billys' hard work and sacrifices.
Billys seen : Tommy (2009), Ollie (2010), Dean, Ryan. (2011)
Favourite Billys : Tommy (2009), Ollie (2010), Dean, Ryan. (2011)

Yep, have always heard that they are prohibited from getting tans. I guess it's part of the "authenticity" factor. But even if it weren't, sun block is a really good idea at the beach. :D

Interesting, because I remember Phil Whitchurch sporting a very healthy tan at Sally Dexter's first show. (He'd been away the week before - David Bardsley was dad for Hadyn's last performance)

Here's an interview with a wardrobe dresser - swing for BETM on Broadway. That means she comes in and substitutes for other dressers when they are out for some reason.

Sa-Sally Dexter?! Wow I love her! I never realised she played Mrs Wilkinson, I wonder if there are videos out there...

Both her and Ruthie Henshall have played Nancy before, I wonder if Kerry Ellis ever will :O
