Olivier audience award
Re: Olivier audience award
The Olivier Awards nominations took place at the Rosewood Hotel in London this afternoon and the great news is BETM has made it to the final 4 nominees for the This Morning Audience Award along with Matilda, Wicked and Jersey Boys.
For those who didn't vote the first time you now have until 5pm on 10th April to vote.
According to The Oliviers website If you voted for one of the four shows in Stage One of the voting you do not need to vote again as your vote has been carried forward.

This is an interesting overview of the Award nominations, from the Daily Telegraph.
I see that Haydn Gwynne is nominated for Best Actress in Supporting Role in a Musical.

Taken from the official T&C's
"You may vote once per email address in the first round of voting. If the show for which you voted in the first round is one of the finalists, then you cannot vote in the second round with the same email address."
Doesn't say anything about not being able to vote in the second round from a different email address

They're even using the new Billy, Thomas, to canvas votes before his first performance!

Olivier Awards: It seems that if you (and your friends, and their hamsters, I trust) voted for Billy in the first round of the Olivier awards, you don't need to vote again! Those votes are carried forward. Hurrah! It is only people who voted for one of the shows that did NOT make it through to the finals... and we wouldn't know any FOOLISH PEOPLE like that, would we?... who should go to the voting site again, to use their now "free again" vote for THE BEST show.
(I hang my head in shame, that I did not get to my re-voting duties before now, to discover this. Probably everyone else has already been there, knew that? Of course, second round voting DOES have a time to go... Time for us to check that our friends "got around" to it...!)

The company at Billy really, really do want that award don't they!! They are worse than politicians trying to win an election.

It is the norm. The cast of Matilda are doing it, too:Bridget40 wrote:The company at Billy really, really do want that award don't they!! They are worse than politicians trying to win an election.

That BETM clip must have been shot before Zach left several weeks ago.
