Billy Elliot grows North-East roots

It was planned that BETM would have its premiere at the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. This had to be abandoned due to the production's growing budget and the financial problems of the Tyne Theatre's operator.

There is no mention of this in the newspaper article, unless I am having another senior moment.

Do you mean the 2016 tour was to have premiered at the Tyne Theatre?
