It seems to me that they have the transition from one site to another down pat. To go from Pittsburgh to Orlando with exactly 47 hours from Sunday's finale to Tuesday's Small Boy's appearance, while transporting the set, costumes and all production gear (including 'merch') without stops, some 969 miles and 16 hours 20 minutes); set up; do sound and lighting tests; and have things ready for rehearsals and safeties by, I would guess noon on Tuesday; requires military precision and working 24/7. Build into it possible delays due to rest stops, snow, accidents; the ever fun-filled Beltway (I-95 is hell from Philly to Fredericksburg); and any hassles with the set itself, and it is cutting things fine. But it can be done; and it has been so far.

Having a second set (and second fleet of 18 wheelers to transport it) would be absurdly expensive, in my view. Isn't the whole point to cut down expenses to lower costs and thereby get more bums on seats?

You got Washington AND Baltimore - it's not fair, Maria! ;) I'm still waiting for SE Virginia to show up on their radar. Thankfully, Southwest Airlines has 5 flights a day to BWI so I'll have to find my way onto one of them when the time comes.

Apparently, the cast members have had a travel day from hell trying to get to Baltimore from Austin. :(

Lexi Viernes has tweeted this: "Worst travel day ever! 9 hours spent in an airport/plane just to touch down back where we started in Austin... #tourlife"

https://mobile.twitter.com/LexiFriday

Chris Howard tweeted this: "This travel day is the worst."

and "Because of today's flight debacle, @RichardGatta were ear-deep in @Delta paperwork. pic.twitter.com/rlKcFqve"

But apparently he and Richard will make it to Baltimore tomorrow in style after a good night's sleep (fingers crossed 8-) ):

"Well, @RichardGatta and I ended up with two first class tickets on a 6am flight and a free hotel room for the night. Not too bad, @Delta ."

The tour trucks are already lining up outside the Hippodrome Theater for the loadout after tonight's show in preparation for the trip to the next Tour stop - Ottawa:

I have been curious about visa......do US Actors' Equity members have reciprocal rights to work in the short term in Canada (being employed by a US entity and traveling on a tour), or do they have to apply for a visa each time they enter?

I don't believe U.S. citizens need a visa to work in Canada, though it may be necessary for them to secure a working permit.
