Re: Baltimore Reviews
Great reviews. Especially the recognition of the ensemble. These reviewers were paying attention to the details, and they definitely "got it". So many other reviewers seem like they were only half paying attention and only looking for "hummable music".

Re: Baltimore Reviews
So far, three fabulous shows in Baltimore - the audiences have been outstanding at all three shows - they really get into the show and are most responsive - all three shows ended in full standing ovations.
I will say more later, as I am exhausted after three post midnight evenings followed by early mornings, but it is ever so worth it. So far, I have seen Noah, Ben and Drew, all outstanding performers and three top notch shows. What a thrill to have BETM in Baltimore!
More to follow, when I catch my breath, I promise!

Friday Night, December 21. a review
Hey there...I don't know if I am following the format or posting in the right place, but I shall venture forth in saying that I saw Mitchell Tobin tonight, a wonderful little guy who did a fabulous job!! I was sooo impressed with his singing and his dancing ranked right up there with the with those who have been doing the show for a bit. Loved his tap with Sam Poon in Expressing Yourself. I began to notice a few nuances that appeared different from the usual...there was no jumping off the piano at the end of Born to Boogie, and some slight hesitancy when dancing with older Billy. However he, apparently injured, did a fantastic, fantabulous job with Angry Dance!
As we moved into the Christmas gathering, after the intermission, I noticed Billy looked taller and suddenly realized it was Noah Parets who had taken over. Noah was, as always, great fun to watch and enjoy.
An announcement following the show stated that Mitchell had perservered through part I and would be "looked after" (my words) and he, in fact, came out to a standing ovation. Phew! "Nerve wracking, you know"!
I had a wondrous time and will be traveling to Baltimore for 4 more Billy's before the troop moves on!
'Tis 1 am now. To all a good night!

Re: Baltimore Reviews
Thanks for telling us about tonight's show, Cherri. Sorry to hear that Mitchell was injured, but I hope that it was nothing too serious, and he will be back on in a day or two.
