Thanks for pointing that out. It's a good thing we have Dutch speakers here.

That link doesn't seem to work outside the Netherlands. But I think I found it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CweZ0me0atconceagain wrote:Jillis appeared in the Dutch tv-show 'Shownieuws' talking about his upcoming departure: http://www.show.nl/video/afleveringen/2 ... te-editie/. His bit starts around 20.45. It is once again confirmed he is leaving the 28th because of his size and his broken voice. Jillis himself adds that although he could see himself play Billy a bit longer, he agrees that he is just getting too old. He also states that he is glad that he has been able to experience this even though he already was a bit bigger when he started playing Billy.
Paul de Leeuw is actually one of Holland's most successful tv-show hosts of all time. He has produced and presented some amazing tv shows and is generally well-respected (although I must admit the concept of this new show is quite interesting). He talked about how he saw Jillis perform as Billy and was so impressed by him that once he heard that Jillis had his final performance he wanted him to be on his show to talk about the experience.kport wrote:This interview (?) popped up: I do not understand a word, (it translates as 'Paul's Adolescent Cook Show') but I think I have discovered a tv 'show' host as improbable as Mel and Sue:

Thank you for that. But what is the unique aspect of this show?onceagain wrote:Paul de Leeuw is actually one of Holland's most successful tv-show hosts of all time. It is a cooking show which centers around adolescents, so it's basically Paul inviting adolescents who have done something interesting or unique to come on this show and they all cook meals together. The 'aim' of the show is to get more insight in the lives of teenagers I guess. It's an interesting concept but perhaps also a bit random (what does the cooking aspect really add?).kport wrote:Thank you for that.
