Opening Night 2005 Video

This video was published on Youtube tonight (early morning in the UK). It may have been posted somewhere prior and longtime members of the Forum may be familiar with it.

I, for one, have just viewed it for the first time. And, even if you've seen it before, it's wonderful to re-live that time when the show we all love was born. The video features footage from that night and also interviews with the actors and creative team. Enjoy!

It is a great show that people do come and see. Because it's not
just a show for adults, or just for children, or just for people that
like theatre, I'd say for everyone, and it's got so much emotion
behind it. Because who ever comes and sees it, feels the story -

The video, showing Liam as Billy, is not from opening night, but rather seems to be from press night on 11 May, when Liam Mower played Billy. The opening night Billy was George Maguire. The interviews with Jamie Bell and Sir Elton John were, however, likely from opening night.
