This interesting tweet came out from Billy Elliot London yesterday:

Can anyone add more information about what publication's cover the photo is on?

The "Evening Standard" is just a big newspaper. The photo shows a newspaper seller. Those posters are a normal part of such stands, and change daily, although they are normally just in black and white, and shout some "Read all about it" message, usually.

Yes, I'm familiar with the Evening Standard from my trips to London. When I posted the link, I hadn't actually paid enough attention to see that it was that august publication.
But I wonder if there is a feature article inside that would be of interest to everyone.

Re: Billy Elliot Taking Over the Streets
I wonder if it is just an ad campaign, on behalf of BETM's closing, that rents advert poster space on these kiosks? Sometimes these are tied into recurring adverts placed in the Evening Standard as well. I am sure the VPT would like every show from now until April 9th to be sold out.

No doubt we will all do our best to deliver that situation! (^_^)kport wrote:...I am sure the VPT would like every show from now until April 9th to be sold out.

There is no article inside today's edition of the Evening Standard. This is similar to the adverts in the weekend papers, simply advertising the last show.
