Welcome to the forum, Eric's grands! We're glad you found us.
You certainly deserve to be proud of Eric. Billy is a challenging role, and boys that play Billy are special!

Eric's Debut Saturday 2nd December
Just heard, Eric will go on stage on Saturday night to a full audience. And, he had a FULL run through with the full orchestra last Friday. So very proud of you Grandson. We're in awe of your determination and talent.

Eric's journey to being the 5th Billy Elliot in the 2017/201
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2a7fVk ... e=youtu.be
We may not be able to understand Korean...however this is the story behind Eric becoming the 5th Billy Elliot for the Seoul 2017/2018 season...It was told on SBS last week. Eric was unsuccessful at first, then reauditioned, was accepted...and he then needed to "catch up" with the other Billy's after some months absence. Then being pushed away from group rehearsals and finally being included in Shows. A particularly hard journey for a very talented young man. Proud of you Grandson.

Awesome story ! thanks for posting.
You must be bursting with pride, he is very talented and apparently very driven as well. Wish I could go see this production. It looks fantastic.

Thank you - yes we are. Unfortunately we won't be able to travel to see him perform live, so sit waiting in the hope the odd video clip might appear.

Re: Eric Taylor - Billy
We spoke with Eric yesterday. His BE journey is nearing its end. He is absolutely loving performing the part, completely losing himself into the role. The performance seems to be shorter to him now, than it was in earlier shows. The total delight on his face when he speaks of the experience is a joy to see. One extremely long commitment for a young boy and he doesn't waiver on his enthusiasm. He commented the most challenging part in the performance for him was Electricity... "if you're not very focused and careful a mistake can result in a bad injury'. Proud of you Grandson - awesome. Where to next?
