Matilda Movie Musical

Creating this thread because many BETM fans are also fans of Matilda the Musical. Now the popular stage musical is being adapted back for the big screen and Netflix.

Some of the casting has already been announced. Among the most interesting news is that well known actress Emma Thompson will play Miss Trunchbull. On stage this role has been played by a male actor. Some of us had the pleasure of seeing Bertie Carvel's acclaimed performance in either the West End or Broadway productions.

Over 200 children are currently in rehearsal to play the students of Crunchem Hall. That's a lot of "revolting children!"
