YES! I like that!hammy wrote:How about something really simple like this:
It could be the size of a button badge - recognizeable but not to over stated.
Do you really need name on them, once you recognise someone you can just introduce yourself
I really quickily did this to demonstrate how simple it could be.

Re: Forum badges
I have a few suggestions, based on Billy Whiz's idea. I left out the forum name in the center, as that is at the top, and I left plenty of room in the mid section for a member to add his/her name if desired.
And another similar idea:
I like this second one a bit better. It's simpler.
Finally, one with a jumping billy graphic to use some of the white space.
OK, someone else can take it from here.

All those are Great Jonnyc...though I think you've given away your preference for which Jumping George you like (when you get a chance can you send me the top one,my preference of the 3...I could make up a ton of those for the June crowd if needed.)

No offence johnnyc because they are GREAT designs, but i wouldn't dream of wearing them! I am not a big badge wearing fan, so would prefer something much more subtle like Hammy's! Keep up the good work tho!
Re: Forum badges
I like both, but the one I used was all I could find that didn't involve removing other parts of the image that overlapped a portion of the dancer. (I'm too lazy to learn to use PaintShop Pro properly. )StevenKing wrote: I think you've given away your preference for which Jumping George you like
OK, That one is probably the best of the lot, and we have Billy Whiz to thank for the idea it's based on. I'll send the original to you, but we'd better wait and see what brilliant ideas others come up with before you commit to making copies. (By the way, the forum link at the bottom needs to in a slightly smaller font to look good (me thinks).(when you get a chance can you send me the top one,my preference of the 3...I could make up a ton of those for the June crowd if needed.)

I'm totally cool with yours being based on mine - nothing wrong with that at all, in fact I feel privileged! Anyhow yours is the more up to date version!Billy Whiz wrote:Hey!! Don't bring me into your argumentsFinale wrote:Huc humjohnnyc wrote:we have Billy Whiz to thank for the idea it's based on.
