The closest station to the Victoria Palace Theatre is indeed Victoria! However Victoria itself is only served by a few Underground lines and South/South East National Rail. Therefore, other major stations of London are listed which can then be linked to Victoria via the Underground.
LONDON UNDERGROUND
Victoria is an interchange with the District/Circle and Victoria Lines.
Nearby Hyde Park Corner holds the Piccadilly Line which links to Heathrow Airport
NATIONAL RAIL
If you're coming from the south, Victoria is an interchange for Southeastern (Kent), Southern (Surrey/Sussex) and the Gatwick Airport Express.
If you're coming from the west, Paddington is an interchange for First Great Western and the Heathrow Airport Express/Connect services. Remember that Paddington is on the Circle Line.
If you're coming from the east, Liverpool Street is an interchange for National Express East Anglia, c2c and Stansted Airport Express. However if you are using the Stansted Express, it is quicker and far easier to change at Tottenham Hale for the Victoria Line.
If you're coming from the north-west, Euston is an interchange for Virgin trains and London Midland. Remember that Euston is on the Victoria Line.
If you're coming from the midlands, St. Pancras is an interchange for East Midlands Trains and First Capital Connect, including links to Gatwick Airport. Remember that St. Pancras is on the Victoria Line.
If you're coming from Europe, St. Pancras is London's Eurostar terminus. Remember that St. Pancras is on the Victoria Line.
If you're coming from the north-east, King's cross is an interchange for Grand Central, East Coast, First Hull trains and First Capital Connect. Remember that King's Cross is on the Victoria Line.
If you're coming from the south-west, Waterloo and Vauxhall are served by South West Trains. Remember that Vauxhall is on the Victoria Line.

Victoria Line Upgrade:
Due to the installation of a new signalling system and brand new trains*, the Victoria Line will be closed most weekends.
Please check Transport for London for further information in advance, so that you can ensure your journey to the VPT isn't affected.
It is also worthy to note that occasionally there is no Circle/District line services due to planned engineering works. Again, please check TfL for details in advance. For help on travel advice or planning your journey, please feel free to PM me.
*These trains can be seen here, if you're interested. They are faster and better ventilated.

There is quite a few part closures on the tubes this week-end (26/27) and the Victoria line is totally closed, so you may want to check your route before you set off.
