Oh! That is so great! It seems very "Commedia dell'arte" in its concept. It's a bit like watching a Cirque de Soleil offering.

Thanks for the link. :D

I agree, looks really great! Reminds me of the way Peter And The Starcatcher presents itself too. Real actors performing on a minimal set. Looks great!

Me too. I'm there on the 8th and having checked with his dad I can confirm that he will still be in it then.

Even though they spelled his name wrong, here's a nice interview with Fox from What's On Stage. I'm very impressed at what a thoughtful young man Fox has become. In the interview he comes across as very articulate and perceptive. For example, when answering a question about his experience in Billy Elliot he says:

"As I said, my debut was as a 12 year old and you get through it with energy and enthusiasm but as one gets to understand Billy’s journey you realise that for all the actors that play Billy, it’s actually our journey and it becomes very personal and very powerful. It’s a brilliant role and I am very honoured to have had the chance to share it with the audience."

I Was A Rat author Phillip Pullman is interviewed about the show at the start its tour of England. Among other things, he has some very complimentary things to say about Fox's portrayal of the lead character:

Here's a review from the Liverpool Echo, where the touring company of I Was A Rat is appearing this week:

Here's an article featuring Fox from the Western Morning News. There's a fair amount of discussion by Fox about his days in BETM and he compares that experience to his present role of Roger in I Was A Rat:
