I think yer quote fragment should read "me mind's a bit scrumpled..."

I only know because it took me the longest time to suss it out, and now that word creeps into my everyday speech patterns. And of course being stuck in the Deep Hispanic South, the word "scrumpled" just doesn't happen a lot.
