Of course I'm going alone to a couple shows as well!

The shows in Ottawa are selling really well. Some are very very close to being sold out. I checked online yesterday and I think the wednesday show only had 18 seats left in a theatre that holds well over 2000 people. And the other shows are also getting quite full. It makes me really happy to see that people are willing to come out of hibernation in January to see Billy Elliot!

That is great news, Rob. Sounds like Ottawa will be one of those cities that embraces BETM. It's surely gratifying that the tour continues to do well attendance wise.

One week from tomorrow until BE opens in Ottawa. I can't wait. I am going to 3 shows, and maybe I'll add a fourth.
Is anyone else from this board going to be at any of the shows?

I'll be in town all week. I have tickets for Monday and Friday and may get some more if I can get good seats.

I hope other fans will take this opportunity to visit Ottawa. Dress warm; it's bloody freezing up 'ere.

Hey Liam! I'd double check your tickets for the monday, since the show opens tuesday night

But glad you'll be here. I won't be at the shows your going to, but hopefully you can grab some more tickets while your in town. I don't think the Canal is going to be open yet, but you never know. Either way, make sure you get a beavertail from the Byward Market, sooo yummy!

OMG I read the first part of the first sentence and almost flipped out!

Wish I could visit Ottawa for another Billy-Thon. Hope all those attending enjoy our new Billy's as much as we did here in Texas during their debuts. And, of course, you know how great Noah and Ben will be.

One more thing... Could you guys up there in Canada shut the doors and windows. It's bloody freezing down 'ere! We've been in the 30's and 40's for days!

Funny, it's not very cold up here. It's only -10°C (14°F). Beautiful weather for a visit to Ottawa. The snow, the sledding, the Christmas lights, the skating, it's a winter wonderland.
