Brilliant play and Trevor had a significant role throughout as a member of the local area Home Guard. Local to Newcastle that is. This was a thoroughly interesting Geordie drama starring Robson Green, Kevin Whately and Derek Jacobi as the Captain Manneringesq head of the home guard. Trevor played a very 'red flag and all thta' Socialist who was a thorn in the flesh to the Captain and who brought the men out on strike in protest at the way they were treated. There were some very moving moments from him particularly when a parachute they were about to challenge had a bomb on it and not a German. The bomb blew up a house and we saw Trevor and his mates cradling a young boy who had died who was the victim of the blast. All in all a superb NE drama and if you taped it you will really enjoy it. Showed what a fine TV actor Trevor is.

Trevor, used his experience in playing George in Billy Elliot in the West End for four years, when he visited the the Saturday Stage School in Whitley Bay to talk to the students there about the musical and also give a view of the life of a professional actor.

The school has started rehearsals for Billy Elliot the Musical, which will be staged at the Playhouse Whitley Bay on Sunday July 3, at 2pm and 6pm, in conjunction with the Billy Elliot Youth Theatre program.

Trevor will appear in the World Premiere of Matthew Dunster’s "Children’s Children" running at the Almeida Theatre in London from 17 May – 30 June 2012.
