In this very nice video we see Jacob's other passion, which is cooking. :D

Jacob's Facebook fan page added this note: "This was a student film for a film competition on free enterprise. It was my first film experience and I had a blast. Nathan Waters from University of Texas and Eric Ruleman from MIT were awesome to work with and I hope they win!"

I just learned that Jacob was literally born a performer. On his Facebook page, it says "he was born on the television show 'Baby Story'." That's starting early!

I also found Jacob's web site.

Here's a great story about Jacob and his bar mitzvah (accompanied by some wonderful pictures) in the Jewish Scene magazine:

Jacob is featured in a display in the Orpheum Theatre-Memphis lobby. The ArtsMemphis Facebook page posted a nice photo of Jacob posing with the display. :D

Too bad Jacob couldn't have stuck around a few months longer so he could have performed in his home town. Maybe the production staff will do like they did with Spencer Milford in St. Louis last November and bring him out of "retirement" to play the posh/tall boy while the show is in Memphis.

That would have made perfect sense, especially this week when they have had Billys playing Tall Boy due to Jake not having yet made his debut.

Jacob has his first post-BETM show lined up. According to his Facebook fan page:
I am very excited to announce that I am playing the role of Amos the Mouse (and his twin) in Ken Ludwig's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas at Circuit Playhouse Inc/Playhouse on the Square in Memphis! Rehearsals start next week! We begin touring local schools Oct. 30 and open on the Circuit Stage November 23rd. This is an awesome play with an amazing cast, and I have a really fun part! I cannot wait!

Imagine. It is Summer 2012. You drive to the local Krogers in Memphis to buy some milk...and come across these two, in the car park...

Has this been seen before?
