With the permission of Kylend's mom, Karon, I'm happy to announce that again a former Billy has been asked to help promote the show in a city. Last weekend, Kylend was in Birmingham to dance "Electricity" at the Alabama Dance Festival and also recorded some TV pieces for use before/during the show's stop there next week. Hopefully some video of his work on behalf of the show will become available.

He was also the first Billy I saw just down the road in Portland.

Kylend has been out of the news for quite some time. His friend Kristina wrote this "Spotlight" article, announcing that he will guest star on AUSTIN & ALLY on the DISNEY CHANNEL this Sunday, August 23. The article includes a sneak peek video as well as an interview with Kylend.

Yes, that is correct. He appears in this video from the Broadway auditions (from 13:34-13:55 in the video) working on his Geordie accent while practicing "Electricity." He also appears off and on in the remainder of the video, along with other members of the final 15 . . . featuring such BETM alums as Trent Kowalik, Kiril Kulish, David Alvarez, Hogan Fulton, Tanner Pflueger, Corey Snide, and Keean Johnson.
