This seems to be the way the Billy Elliot the Musical company is going now. If you remember, they also had a cake after the first preview anniversary show on Broadway this year.

That is no consolation to those of us from the US and elsewhere who have planned big trips to London for May 12. Plus, the message sounds as if they will actually be doing a special show on Mar. 31. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

I rang the VP box office and asked if anything would be happening on May 12th. The gentleman who answered the phone had a word with the person who is organising the 5th birthday celebrations. They said that March 31st is definitely the night that the celebrations would be taking place and the chances are that nothing will happen on May 12th.

A few of are in London this weekend so will try and get more info about May 12th plans.

Well, being a last minute planner, I have booked nothing yet. But I really feel for everyone who did....

I have D18 for 12th May too, no biggie, but I feel bad for those who planned ahead from the US.
