Thanks for clearing this up.

But, I swear, there is a video on YouTube of a promotional appearance probably last summer, by the whole cast outdoors on a stage (I think at Times Square), not in costume. They all sing the opening number. But, before they sing, the 3 Billys pass the mike and introduce themselves. Kiril refers to himself as "KI-ril."

I once knew a man who last name is Zuares. His family were Jewish refugees from Libya. He grew up speaking Arabic, then they fled to Italy, where he learned Italian. The family eventually made aliyah and moved to Israel, so he spoke Hebrew for years. As a young adult, he moved to the US and learned English. When asked how to pronounce his name, he'd answer that he didn't know, it depended on who was saying it. Maybe some milder version of this is also Kiril's story.

There is a video on Broadway.com (I think), of Greg Jbara with Kiril where he ask him how should we pronounce his name.

Fans of Kiril (who isn't? haha) he posted today on his Twitter that he's performing as Billy on Friday night--a rare head's up to his fans--so if you have the time and money, you can see Kiril on Friday. =)
