Wonderful news! Thanks for the link, porschesrule. :D

I would love to see Dayton on my upcoming trip, but I expect he will not be on for a couple of weeks. Even though he is an experienced Billy, he will have to learn the changes in the show.

I will now move Dayton's thread into Cast Leavers and Arrivals New York.

That article mentioned that Liam would be the 7th boy to play Billy on Broadway, which would indicated Dayton would make his debut earlier than early December when Liam is supposed to start.

I expect he will, but I doubt he will be on between Nov. 11 and Nov. 16. That would really be pushing it. I imagine it might be just after I have left for home. But I expect I'll see him at some point during his run. 8-)

Unless they count Tanner.

That's possible -- but if they did it would be the first time in the press that I've seen.

To be fair though, I think the reason they don't count Tanner is that he was considered an understudy when he was filling in for Tommy (contractually) and they are only counting Billys who are full time in the role.

They seem to regard Tanner as not counting, since he was a temporary replacement. :(

That is a shame.
It's amazing that Dayton will be returning to play Billy and is the forth Billy to play it on two contenants and the 1st to play it at three different theatres. Big congratulations.
