I noticed that one of the dancers in SYTYCDAU is Ashleigh Tavares. I wonder if this is a second link to the show.

Good spot! Interesting question. But I have never seen her name associated with A-Live Entertainment, and A-Live Performing Arts Centre, which is the studio that Dayton's family is involved with. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they are kin to each other.

Dayton has released this "what dance means to me" video. It is full of dance clips from all stages of his life, including his time in BETM Broadway. Seeing these bits of his Angry Dance bring back some fond memories. Boy was he intense!!! It's nice to see how his style has evolved over the years.
