12 months ago on the thursday night , young Daniel only 3 months as a Billy performed the first of 5 last shows for the Australian BETM.
Thursday, friday , two on saturday and that emotionally charged matinee on sunday, that ripped the guts out of all BETM supporters in Australia.
I have read the emotions of people with one Billy retiring. You cannot Imagine the drama of 5 last shows in succession and the final,very last show in Australia.
My thanks to all those magnificent performers who made BETM[OZ] so great and to all the wonderful Billys .

Not to mention the last show, a year ago today, where the whole cast was leaving. There was not a dry eye in the house. But our tears soon turned to loud cheers and clapping when the Billys and Michaels came on to perform their 'special finale'. Great day!
