I was at the performance this afternoon. They did a great job. The performance was at the CDC dance studio. The room was a dance studio with a stage at one end.
The sound system had some problems. There was some feedback a few times, some microphones did not come in on time, and sometimes the recorded music was too loud relative to the singing. The show went on, with great dancing.
For "Greased Lightning", they had an actual 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne on the floor in front of the stage. It was covered by a tarp at the beginning of the show and they uncovered it during "Greased Lightning". They then used it for the drive-in movie scene later. If anyone is looking for a memento, they are selling the car on Kijiji.
