I was able to see the Alberta Ballet performance in Vancouver, at the same venue as for BETM a couple of weeks ago, Vancouver's QE Theatre.
LLB also has a 'small boy' (very young Elton) who rides a tricycle on stage. Also there is the use of a high wire to suspend the protagonist in the air in one of the 'numbers'. The lead dancer playing the role of EJ is a guy of Japanese ethnicity.
