I see many details, but nowhere in this article that I can find does it say the inquest was held yesterday. Since the accident took place in March, I can not imagine that it would have taken this long to hold an inquest. I think this is just an old article that has turned up again as often happens. I do hope that the foundation Charlotte's family set up is doing well. She was such a lovely young girl, and she deserves to be remembered.

Ellen the article up the top does state that it was "Last updated at 2:14 PM on 17th September 2011" and the first paragraph clearly ends with "an inquest heard today." Maybe I am reading it wrong - wouldn't be the first time

Regardless - it's a tragedy beyond measure and I too hope the charity is doing spendidly.

No, you aren't reading it wrong. I was. I have been told that inquests often take quite some time in the UK.

As I said before, Charlotte was a lovely young girl, and she and her accomplishments definitely deserve to be remembered

Charlotte's tragic death may lead to safer roads in London. There is a move to lower speed limits from 30 to 20 mph in densely populated areas.

I have seen more than a few dangerous moments as people leave the VPT and cross Victoria Street - already a dangerous crossing with all the construction going on.

A year after the tragic death of Charlotte, her family focuses on running the Charlotte Leatherbarrow Foundation, the mission of which is to provide funding to young performers to support their training. On March 20, Rumer will be performing in Putney at a fundraiser for the Foundation.

So sad, reading this in the Evening Standard tonight in Victoria Station, just yards away from the VP.

Thank you for this sad reminder. I'm still overwhelmed with sadness at this truth, but Charlotte will forever be a part of the heart and soul of BETM worldwide. Thinking of her family and friends.

The Charlotte Leatherbarrow Foundation posted this earlier on their public Twitter account:

"On Tues May 1st there's an article on Charlotte's story in the Woman's Own magazine. They don't publish online so go buy a copy tomorrow!"
