I know the official BETM website says the Atlanta stop is March 13-17, but the Fox Theatre and Ticketmaster are selling tickets for two Sunday shows at 1:00 & 6:30 pm. Go to http://www.foxtheatre.org/showschedules.aspx and look at the March calendar.

I've said several times, the BETM website continues to be unreliable, especially with regard to the schedule. Atlanta was indeed announced as March 13-18, 2012. Anyone looking for an alternative to the official website schedule might be interested in this, which I keep up to date with individual theater's websites: http://www.theskykid.com/billy-elliot-m ... the-world/

I have modified the Atlanta dates accordingly on the first page's schedule.

Attention- Billy Elliot The Musical fans in Austin- Don't wait until BETM comes to Austin this December. Everyone needs to see this multi-layered show at least twice to appreciate it, (3 to 5 times is even better-some say 50 to 100 times). If you wait until December, you will be depressed when it leaves town.

Attend BETM in San Antonio late March into April. It is only 1.5 hours away, and when the show moves on, you will be happy to know that it will return to your hometown during the Christmas season. The tour needs your support and you need the inspiration.

I'm pretty sure it was to read end of March in to April. My tickets are for March 31st. Can't wait.

If you go back to the very first entry in this thread on page one, you will find the updated tour schedule as it currently exists, and San Antonio is late March through early April.

Sorry if I confused anyone with the wrong time frame. I changed the original post. I try not to mention the exact dates, since in the past the schedule has been changed many times. People have even planned a show on a cancelled date. Follow Ellen's advice and check the first entry on page one of this thread.

In looking at the first page, and double-checking the dates against the official tour site, I realized that there is a significant break in the schedule between Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale. It looks like the cast is going to get a 10-day vacation in the Florida sunshine. 8-)

Houston Fans---If you felt down when Billy Elliot The Musical left town, remember that San Antonio is only a three hour drive away. How about taking the family on a weekend adventure. Or even a single day adventure. Drive to San Antonio in the morning, have a light lunch along River Walk, attend a Matinee BETM, go out to dinner so the kids will sleep on the drive home. Or stay overnight and see the town the next day, and maybe another show. Remember, viewing BETM at least twice allows everyone to notice a lot of what they missed on the first viewing.
