Easington colliery was on Countryfile on Sunday 5th June, it compared the village as it was in a schools project, organised by the BBC in 1986, and as it is now, it showed the site of the mine and featured the miners strike.also the junior school in 1986 and as it is now

Ah I saw this too. Fascinating to see the old computer complete with lasterdisks in use!
