Tall and Small Boys

Im really looking forward to the programme and seeing the mighty Drew in it. Might even get the dvd.
I was lucky enough to have a few words with him on the 27th which was lovely.
Cant wait until Monday 20th when its aired.

What a magnificent drama this was. What else would you expect with David Jason plus a handpicked cast of superb actors including Drew. Drew was absolutely brilliant. When you've only ever seen him before as Small Boy in BETM and then you get to see a performance like this it takes your breath away. The scene where he was accused of stealing was top-class acting with a masterclass in facial expressions. In other scenes that smile would have melted the ice caps.

It's not often that you get to watch a TV drama where you have actually previously spoken to one of the stars.

when the grandson (Drew) had to change schools, the new school is actually a school just around the corner from me probably less than a mile away.I remember seeing film crews and being told it was a David Jason thing(which i thought was great) but obviously at the time didnt know Drew was in it so when it all clicked while watching the programme i was really chuffed to realise that Drew was there too and i passed him metres away in my car and didnt have a clue.
That kid is awesome and really lovely to talk to.

Can someone tell me if Charlie Salsen (ex small boy left Sept - long curly blonde hair) is Benji in Priscilla. The lad playing Benji had an uncanny resemblance when I saw the show early Jan 11 but I can see no reference to Charlie on the internet. Just curious. Alex

Charlie Salsen had longish red hair. The Small Boy who had long blond curly hair was Rudi Goodman. I have no idea if he is in Priscilla but ex Small Boy Ethan Hammer definitely is.

Although he is still listed on the Priscilla website, I believe that Ethan has left, i was told he had left before i went to see the show..

Rudi Goodman is now playing Benji in Priscilla, he started in December and is contracted till June.
