Kaine danced beautifully in the final but sadly never got through to the final 3 dance off.

The eventual winners received red stars by 2 of the judges as they felt their dance was not up to the standard of the others.

I was referring to the original inspiration for the formation of the group (Billy and Older Billy and dressed similarly) not the number that they performed.
