Billy Elliot Boys Ballet School

Post by porschesrule »

According to this post in the blog "The American Interest", aspiring Billy Elliots in London may soon have a school of their own, says the BBC. To be called the “Class Free School,” the school for boys 11 to 16 hopes to open in London in September 2013.

I am involved with the creation of a free school in the UK. It is not specialised for music or arts - a straightforwrd 11-16 secondary in a rural area. It takes a tremendous amount of work. We have government approval but it will take two years before we can open.

I hope this school succeed. The government should allow all music and arts schools to apply for free school status, including choir schools.
