Noah Parets: Billy - Tour, Ogunquit and La Mirada/Glendale
Re: Noah Parets
Ha!
I was off by one performance!!
I take my previous mea culpa as a 'bye'.
(If you do not know what a 'bye' is, you really do not understand the World of Billy).
Congratulations, Noah. Welcome to a happy team! I am glad you 'broke a leg'!

Re: Noah Parets
Noah did indeed make his debut this afternoon, which just goes to reinforce why we ask members not to speculate or pass on hearsay information about the schedule (and especially about debuts and leaving shows) on the forum without confirmation. Posting such information could have affected someone's decision about whether to attend this afternoon's performance, and could easily have resulted in their missing Noah's debut.ERinVA wrote:It would be a rare event indeed if two Billys were to start on the same day. It has never happened, and it isn't likely to ever happen, so the idea of Noah starting this evening did not make sense.
As for the other comments about Noah's start date, this is a reminder that our rules ask members not to speculate. As always, when/if we get confirmed information either that is publicly available with a link or that we have permission to post, we will do so.
Noah did a great job this afternoon! He is a terrific actor, singer and dancer, and he and Ethan gave us a wonderful show. He did not do the flying sequence in the Dream Ballet today, though. No reason or timeline has been given, but I expect that the flying will be added in within a couple more weeks once the cast members return from a short break before opening in Madison, WI.

Though it got Noah's debut date wrong, here's a nice article about him on the Broadway.com Boston website:

Re: Noah Parets
I guess he "opened it a few [weeks] early."

Re: Noah Parets
Thanks Porschesrule and BEtourfan for the links to those great news articles about Noah.
I was in Louisville for Ben's debut but was unable to stay so I missed Noah's debut. I spent most of my life in Boston so I have a special interest in seeing Noah. His mother has a blog detailing thier adventures preparing for the role of Billy in New York. I lost the link If anyone knows it I would appreciate a pm with the link.
