Prior to his journey to BE Billy, Ali was part of a champion hip hop group (ages 10-13) which won national and international acclaim. In this video, his group Lil Diamondz represents the UK at the world Hip Hop championships at the Red Rock in Las Vegas in 2011. Make sure you watch the whole video as, after the group's performance, Ali grabs the mic from the emcee and entertains the audience:

Agreed. With so many new cast members, I was expecting things not to be as polished as with a veteran crew but I was wrong. Everyone turned in wonderful performances. Congrats to Ali who did a great job in his debut as Billy!
