Can you imagine this lad to be Billy?
One of the training Billys, Oscar Dietz who plays the title role in the movie Antboy2 - The Revenge of the Red Fury, which will be in (danish) cinemas for Christmas.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I guess based on this one pic, he has some experience with an "angry dance" type performance?thm wrote:Can you imagine this lad to be Billy?

O no, don't get me wrong! I just find it funny that this super kids action hero will be seen in so different roles at quite the same time. The film will be in Cinemas as he's playing Billy. He sure is a brilliant actor and he shure will shine as Billy. The fact he's been casted for a show at 'Det Ny Teater' alone is credit enough, as they shure won't fail to deliver first rate quality. These two characters are just SO different. I estimate there will be Antboy-Fankids waiting outside the theatre. One of Europe's largest cinemas is just a stonethrow away.
I maybe should add that in Denmark usually homemade films also or even family and kids films outsell other blockbuster and run for ages. And Antboy was rather a blockbuster among the Danish films.

Just squinted on the guest list - the Statsminister is on it!
There's TV in the house and shure some bits to be seen on some danish channel.
A comprehensive A4 playbill is available before the ticket control btw.
As you enter the auditorium and look towards the stage, instead of the black net-curtain there's a wire-mesh fence with b/w portraits of Maggie Thatcher and placards that read "Victory to the miners'
Having a very good seat in the second(of three) balcony I can see that stalls row 1 is 'nose above stage level'. The stage height is even lower than The Hague.

Wow - it's the interval now. One thing: The scenery is ingenious. A shame if the show isn't running for longer. Billy's house is an actual little partly foldable house on the stage.
