I do not know. But he hails from a very cosmopolitan French resort, Juan-les-Pins*, between Nice and Cannes. Many French school children are quite proficient in English. We had many French exchange students in our English schools who developed an almost imperceptible local accent quite quickly. I guess Bradley has taken the Geordie to heart - not a London accent.

*Those of a certain age will remember Peter Sarstedt's classic song 'Where do you go to my lovely?' which contains the lines:

When you go on your summer vacation
You go to Juan-les-Pins
With your carefully designed topless swimsuit
You get an even suntan, on your back and on your legs.

I am surprised, if pushed I would have said he came from Staffordshire or somewhere certainly not France. I'm not surprised he misses the sun! He sounds like he has a really genuine personality. It must be chaotic in the Billy House with all the nationalities.

I deny remembering Peter Starstedt ;) but unfortunately I can't help thinking of Mr Bean's Holiday when that coast was used. -:For those who havn't been lucky enough to go.

A Q & A session with Bradley from BETMUK:

As a side note, as a result of this Q & A, an earlier question in this thread has been answered. Bradley's mother is from the UK and, before he was in Billy, he often visited his grandparents there.

Saturday, April 5th - matinee

Thoroughly enjoyed Bradley's performance today. He is my 48th different Billy - so I may make my half century by the end of the year. Looks wise he reminded very much of Kiril Kulish - dance wise he is definitely Bradley Perret. A very polished performance indeed with no hint of a French accent - in fact his North East accent is spot on. There were 4 French girls sat in front of me and they were amazed when I told them that Bradley was French. I look forward to seeing Bradley blossom over the coming months.

Bradley and Anna-Jane Casey were presenting the Audience Award to Les Miserables (as last years winners of course). Here he is too briefly in an excerpt from the show (first 2.3 minutes). Very Smart and the ladies didn't hold back on the sequins.
