Some years ago, possibly even on the old Forum, we had a game which involved BETM connections. Post a photo of something you come across in your own locality or on your travels that reminds you of BETM or has a BETM connection. I think the Forum photo size limit is 350 x 350 (just couldn't find the rule, LOL)
To start the ball rolling I took this photo last Thursday of one which is landside at T1 London Heathrow.

Re: BETM connections
Just one caveat: When posting a photo, please be sure it's one you actually took, not something lifted from Google Images or some other similar source, as such photos most likely are copyright protected. Thanks.

Here's my entry, taken on a day trip to Gloucester in 2009:

Re: BETM connections
I will ask a question pondered by many:
How do we upload a photo to this site?

Re: BETM connections
To post a photo on here that you have taken, you must first upload it to a site like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.com. Both are free. Once you have the image uploaded to one of these places, you select the photo and choose the code that starts and ends with img in brackets. On photobucket, this action automatically copies the photo to your clipboard. Then you simply paste it from there into your post. Preview your post to check that the photo shows up, and then click Submit.

Not sure why, but I've been unable to see any of your images in this thread, Pat. I thought it was just my work computer blocking them, as I have so many sites I can't see at work, but it's apparently the same on my home computer too. Just wanted to mention it.

Re: BETM connections
That's strange, Seán, each post includes a link to the image in the standard format for linking images on message boards/forums. I used the tinypic image storing website as mentioned above. If you click on that link http://www.tinypic.com does it bring you to their home page? If it does then the site itself is not blocked.
What browser are you using? I use Firefox and have also just checked with Chrome and the images show up fine?
