It's nearing the end in Malmö, only 5 shows left, including a bonus one because of the demand for tickets. Anyone going?

Auditions for Stockholm started a while back apparently:

There is still the posibility that some of the current Billy/Michaels will continue in Stockholm. Will be decided in September.

The bonus one is this monday the 30th. Tickets for this day was released maybe 2 weeks ago but it's sold out now as all the remaining shows. As of this post only 1 wheelchair seat is available on June 2nd. It's not uncommon to find some single tickets the day before or even the same day as a performance. So if you can be there on short notice keep checking.

Thanks Eya, for the info. 8-)
2 weeks ago I got the only retour-ticket that was available, after queueing 2 hours. The lady at the box office also said, all unsold wheelchair seats go on sale mondays for the respective week.

Would any of you know who, of the alternating cast, will be playing those roles for the added show -- as it isn't on the published schedule?

Hmm. According to the published schedule on the theatre's website, Oliver and Carl are scheduled for tomorrow night (31-May) as well.

A sad farewell to Malmö video from the Billys and Michaels. It’s certainly attracted the audiences.
……….over 62 000 people have seen it and it's been almost packed every performance. Occupancy in the saloon has been 98 percent………..

PS - An e-mail I have received from Malmö Opera, sent to all those who purchased a ticket no doubt. They obviously were ecstatic with the response to the production :- "Thank you everyone who has seen Billy Elliot! Time to say goodbye to a remarkable musical success. You are all those who helped make Billy Elliot such a fantastic experience. Rarely have we seen such a committed audience. For us here at the opera Billy Elliot has been something special. It has been a pleasure to have them in house - throughout the stunning ensemble, all the ballet girls, and not least the six boys who started as beginners and today full-fledged musical professionals. As a thank you to the audience, we offer a small closing film [the Youtube video]."

But if you ignore the few unsold wheelchair places, it's 100% occupancy.

10 more shows added to Stockholm. Tickets for these release on Thursday.

As of right now 35 shows in a little more than 2 months time. Pretty stacked. Still hoping for some more shows in April and May.
