Here's wishing Shaun and his family a speedy recovery.having looked after lots of kids with this illness,I know just how awful it can be.
Shaun indeed was a marvellous Michael-I loved his performances.met him a few times as well and he was a lovely lad.

Very sad to hear about such an awful illness happening to the cheekiest, most charismatic and unpredictable Michael I had the pleasure of seeing so many times.

Whilst I do not know the full details, I understand that Shaun Malone is seriously ill and this is a concern to all of us involved with Billy Elliot and at the Victoria Palace.
I also understand that it is of great concern to the fans of the show, and to the forum.
I am sure you will join me in sending best wishes to him and his family.
If any member of the forum wants to send cards or anything else at this time, then please ask people to send them to the theatre.
If they are sent to the Victoria Palace, for Shaun's attention, but care of myself, I will ensure it is passed on to Shaun and his family.

Yes, it's nice to know that the Billy Elliot and VPT family continue to support the kids after they have left the show, and it's great that Andrew has offered to ensure that forum members' cards, etc. will be passed on to Shaun.
