Can't wait to hear the reaction to the Palestines/Philistines line.

There is no indictation that MTI has licensed it. That may mean that MTI has not posted that fact yet (not unusual), or that it is not a regional show, but one more like the Netherlands production, licensed from (I assume) London.
Master list has been updated.

Oy!
(Though that may be more New York than West Bank)

That may not be a pun in Hebrew language anyway.angelenroute wrote:Can't wait to hear the reaction to the Palestines/Philistines line.

But then again they could use the old version I remember from early BETM years: Phallustines/Philistines. At least that's how I heard it back then.
I wonder if they'll set up the show in english or hebrew (ivrit).

Well, that's a new one! I've been seeing the show in London since October 2005, and I have never heard "phallustines." It's a good joke, but I think it's your own joke, and not actually a reflection of what has ever been said in the show itself.

Timoti Sannikov sounds Russian . There are comments in cyrillic letters.ERinVA wrote:Here are some photos from one of the boys who is auditioning. His name is Timo Ti Sannikov.

Is that him?

I can't really sound out if he sings russian or hebrew.
That one's hebrew: https://youtu.be/eBR1qL4XIrI

Well, that's just how I used to hear that line.ERinVA wrote:Well, that's a new one! I've been seeing the show in London since October 2005, and I have never heard "phallustines." If anyone wonders about the hebrew line on the placard in that photo. I figured it out:ERinVA wrote:Here are some photos from one of the boys who is auditioning. His name is Timo Ti Sannikov.

the actual letters(x stands for the swiss or dutch 'ch' like in Schiphol, z for voiced 's'):
6 INUJ L'RSIB RMZXMH TOIL' ILIB
reversed to read from left to right:
BILI 'LIOT HMXZMR BISR'L JUNI 6
added the lacking vowels (using a translator):
BILI ELIOT HAMAXAZEMER BISRAEL JUNI 6
translated:
BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL IN ISRAEL JUNE 6
I think the arabic numerals are to read from left to right even within a right to left hebrew text, thus the '6' may belong to the year 2016. Obviously they don't use the judaic calendar.
