The 70th Annual Tony Awards will be held June 12 at the Beacon Theatre. The Tony Awards nominations announcement will take place May 3 at approximately 8:30 am, and will be broadcast live on Tonyawards.com and CBS This Morning. Patina Miller and Andrew Rannells have been announced to cohost the nominations announcement.

Just a reminder that the Tony Awards are this Sunday. This year's show will include performances by ten musicals, including:
Shuffle Along, She Loves Me, School of Rock, Fiddler on the Roof, The Color Purple Musical, Hamilton, Waitress, Bright Star, Spring Awakening and ON YOUR FEET!

Is the world wide enough for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s trophy cabinet? As expected, the much-lauded Broadway hit Hamilton dominated the 70th Annual Tony Awards, bringing home a total of 11 trophies, from a record-breaking 16 nominations. It was just one short of The Producers’ record 12 wins, but exceeded both A Chorus Line and Billy Elliot’s totals of 10.
