Since he is definitely identified as a Billy in training, I have now added a thread for Josh in Cast Leavers and Arrivals UK. :D

I've read some things on the internet about a new possible Billy from America coming to London called Adam Vesperman. Here's a video of him:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_8tRpUjJ5Y

I read on twitter from the person who I presume is his dance teacher - Gina Starbuck - on the 11th April : "Wrap on Codance Seattle! Special shout out to my student Adam Vesperman from Allegro PC who's headed to London to be Billy Elliot! :)"

Also on the 'NRG Dance Project' Facebook Group (a dance group from Seattle) posted on 19th Jan : "NRG Jr Prodigy from Seattle Adam Vesperman booked Billy Elliot in London!"

If I hear any more news I'll post it on here :)

Sadly that video has been removed (and I didn't get to see it  )

I assume this is Adam's own YouTube channel as there is only one other video there and on the AllegroDance website his "Favorite thing to do other than dance" is listed as making funny videos:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YIqdbaM1i0

After watching the video yesterday I was 100% sure it would be removed (actually told this to a friend forum member ;) )as it was obviously filmed in the Billy house. I was amazed at how it managed to get on you tube in the first place! And this does look like Adam's channel. Ahh the poor boy is still not used to the way they do things in Billy UK...

I am relatively new at Billy world but from what I've heard things have changed a lot from the times of Leon and Layton.....

If the company produces a video, as for example, the promotional one they did with Layton before he debuted, that is one thing, as they have complete control over what they want to show in it. But allowing the individual kids to make videos, have their own personal facebook pages and twitters, etc. is a different story entirely, as the company can not scrutinize everything that would be posted, so they tend not to allow the kids to use such media while they are members of the cast. Trent's blog while he was a London Billy seems to have been a rare exception, and I am reasonably sure that an agreement about the blog and its contents was worked out with Trent's parents in advance, guaranteeing that nothing that would compromise the security of the children's care would be posted there.

Each BETM company is a different entity with different ways of doing things, so on this side of the pond, the kids have been allowed to have personal facebook, twitter, and youtube accounts, mainly, I expect, because they live with their families and are not under the 24x7 care of the company as they are in the UK.
