Probably for the same reason they don't use all of those colored flashing lights during the ending of Express as in the NY production. It's called show-biz glitz and it's associated more with Broadway than West End Theatre.

Now, back to merchandise please? pretty please? :)

Yeah, it's true that my dad's bedroom doesn't have dancing dresses either
Once the song begins, the number becomes part fantasy and the lighting of the mirror is the start to it. I think it's funny.

Yeah, it's Broadway, this must be it.
Back to merchandise but I don't have any more ideas and it's been already sent, no?

They could make a miniature dressing table music box with a mirroir that lights up and blinks and plays "Expressing Yourself"! Wouldn't that be fun? :D :D

You mean instead of a "a tiny little Fairy on top of a music box" to quote Mrs W, a "Billy and Micheal" arm in arm as they do in with dressing gown, spinning around.

You could add them in front of the dresser with the lighted mirror. :D

Shouldn't the Tony-Awarded Best Musical of 2009 have a cast recording, too?

Absolutely! Maybe if we buy up all the London ones on sale at the Imperial, they will do it.
